FAN HEATER ELEMENT replacememt
Arrived before estimated delivery time. I watched the Ransom sites video guide on how to fit it, which gave me confidence to fit it from the front of the oven. It was easy to fit and worked ok. a 15 minute job.

Original part worth the extra.
The original element lasted 16 years so it made sense to pay the extra for an original part replacement. Easy to fit without any issues. I used Youtube to help with how to tackle the job and completed it in less than an hour. Most of the time was taken by pulling the unit out and removing the sheet metal casing.

Easy to find correct part on website, even though oven is old model. Very easy to replace part, thanks to very helpful videos on website. Obviously don't know how long part will last but seems good quality.

Easy & quick to fit
The part arrived reasonably quickly in France. It was a very simple job to replace the blown element in my Indesit FID20 built-in fan oven. Turned off the supply, removed the illuminating bulb cover and the 4 screws securing the rear panel and then the 2 screws holding the element in place. To ensure that there was no danger of the two wires supplying power slipping behind rear housing, I lightly secured them with a couple of pairs of artery forceps before pulling the contacts off the old elements and then attaching them to the new element. Reassembled and all worked as expected.

Easy enough
Lasted 4 years and 2 weeks. Was reasonably well used - for a family of 4. I think this was more expensive of the two identical parts on sale when I bought it. Slightly miffed it's gone again, but now I can see it's lasted 4 years I guess it's been OK. Repurchased the cheaper item now and we'll see how long it lasts.

Easy enough to fit
I ordered this as a replacement part for my old Creda C361ED cooker for which I find that the fan oven element tends to fail every 3 to 4 years. It's easy to fit behind the back plate of the oven and is held in place by just one screw, with terminals which slide onto the element blades. The only trouble I had this time around was that the fixing hole seemed a trifle smaller than fixing screw so I reamed the hole slightly to avoid damaging the thread. I paid for a 'manufacturer's replacement part', double the price of a compatible element. I shall never know if it will actually last double the time of the compatible element, but it's so inconvenient when the oven goes wrong I thought it was worth paying the extra in the hope of getting extra life from the product. Delivery from Ransomspares was speedy and the element was securely packed.
