Element arrived promtly and well packed. Easy to fit from within the oven (Cannon). All working again within 10 minutets.

Limited lifetime
I have bought two of these, and they both lasted 2 years and 4 months. They're a little fiddly to fit, but it's easier once you've done it a few times, and they work fine while they last. I think I'll place a repeat order so the replacement arrives a week before the current one blows.

Easy to fit
Thanks to a very clear video on the Ransom Spares website, I was able to fit without any hassle within 15 minutes (though access would have been easier without the oven door fitted, I chose not to remove)

Back in action
Oh you always expect that when you switch on the cooker it works, well one day mine didn't. Straight on the internet and came across Ransom Spares. Ordered parts and in a blink of an eye they appeared, thanks from a satisfied customer.

Good design, few tools required in fitting
The oven element is positioned in the rear of the oven in an area which is easily accessed without having to disturb the fitting of the appliance. The only tool required is a screwdriver to remove the covering panel and possibly a small pair of pliers to pull off the electric wire connections all of which makes for an easy replacement by any handyman. Very good design feature requiring very little time and expertice.

Happy with part, easy peasy to fit
The excellent video by Ransom on replacing an oven element gave me confidence to have a go myself. The part arrived really quickly, was chosen as it wasn't the cheapest nor most expensive on internet. Mine was a very straightforward job done in 20 mins and works just fine. If you can change a plug then you can do this! Saved a lot of money, thanks guys.

fan oven element replacement
The fan oven element had gone & I decided to look into fitting a replacement following an expensive quote from a local repair firm. I found the fitting video on your site to be very helpful & with a very good price decided to fit it myself. The part arrived within the stated time scale & the fitting was easy but fiddly because the oven is at floor level. Works fine now & the saving was well worth the bit of effort in fitting it. Will do so again. Good website & helpful staff when I rang.

very easy to fit, used bulldog clips to stop wires slipping into back of oven when unconnected from element.

Hope its better than the last
This element was to replace a previous one that was only around three and a half years old that was also supposedly a genuine Creda replacement - I hope this one lasts a lot longer than this. Its difficult to rate the quality as it either works or it doesn't but time will tell if its decent quality or not. The good thing is that it is very easy to fit - just remove the back panel from inside the oven and it can all be accessed from there. No need to pull out the appliance to access from the rear (at least not with our model)

Element for Hotpoint Fan Oven
