Excellent service yet again!

Fourth time I have used this company and all I can say is that the service is still excellent. Video of how to change the heating element was superb, and gave me the confidence to "do it myself". Bought the part at a excellent price, speedy processing and delivery of my order. Fitted the part with no problems and cooker works like new again! Saved a fortune on a call out and repair from a local company. Can't recommend this part and especially this company enough! Will be using them again no questions asked!

Although some internet providers could supply the parts slightly cheaper I decided to buy from Ransom as the part was guaranteed to be original. Ransom were very helpfull in determining which part was required and how to fit it, they also delivered it quickly. The element was very easy to fit and saved me pounds in call out fees thanks to Ransom's help. Thoroughly recomended

Simplicity itself

Ransom Spares listed 5 symptoms of oven element failure - and our over matched them all. The video explaining how to replace a cooker element was most useful - with the exception of how awkward access to the back of a floor-level oven is. Clips on the yellow and grey wires would not come off without prising with pliers. Once they were persuaded, the replacement was a breeze and the oven now heats up. Excellent product and pleasing results. Will use again.

Saved me a fortune!

After watching your video on how to change an oven element I ordered the part straight away. It came very quickly and I managed to fit it in around 10 minutes, saving myself at least £100 for repairs and a wasted day's annual leave waiting in for the repairman. I have no experience of doing this sort of thing, so if I can do it, anyone can. I'm very grateful to Ransom for making my oven problem so cheap and easy to fix. If I hadn't seen the video I might have just caved in and bought a new oven.

This was exactly what I needed for my Cannon fan oven. It was delivered in a couple of days and I had it fitted in about 15 minutes. Good job Ransom Spares!

Why would you call an engineer?

So its two weeks before Christmas and we have people coming to dinner. Half way through the preparations we suddenly noticed that the fan oven wasn't cooking anything and a little exploration lead me to the fact that the element had gone. . Looked around and found an engineer was probably going to be £120-150. OK so to save Christmas not too bad, but then thought I'd have a look for a spare. £27 plus a bit for speedy delivery seemed like a bargain and the assurances were that this was an easy job. And so it proved to be. Undo a few bolts and disconnect the old unit. MAKE SURE you hang on to the leads. I lost one into the cavity of the cooker and there was a few choice words while I fished it back out. Other than that it was a simple disconnect/reconnect job and saved me around £100 (even assuming someone would come and do the job in the run up to Christmas). Once again Ransom to the rescue.
