Perfect replacement
Product was relative to fit but make sure the original switch is definately faulty first as you have to destroy it to remove the wires before you can connect them to the new one

Fits Exactly Like The Original Flymo Part
Original switch wouldn't latch on properly and there was no power switching through it. Ordered this and it arrived before the due by date. Looks exactly like the original and fits perfectly. reading other reviews I thought I'd have to destroy the original to get the motor side contacts out but by gently pulling on the wires with the ferrules on them in the switch clamps and rotating the wire like you are stirring a cup of tea they just kind of unscrewed themselves from the clamps so no messing around with new ferrules or solder. Whole job done in ten minutes.

Saved me buying a new lawnmower
After watching the Ransom Spares video on fitting a new switch, I decided that it was worth a try to buy the part and fit it, oTherwise I’d have to get a new lawnmower. It worked, although I have to say the video makes it look easier than it is. Saved me a lot of cash, thank you.

Feels like quality and fits well.
The product was easy to select and fit. It arrived promptly but obviously time will tell as to its quality. looks and feels good though.

I fixed my lawnmower easily
After finding the "how to" video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymRYdG2_xdA, I ordered the part and fitted it as described. Result: I don't have to discard a lawnmower that I am totally happy with. Fitting was not too hard. The only awkward part was breaking the old switch to extract the push fit tags as advised in the video (you're not shown how, so you will have to use your initiative to lever the top off - I used a Stanley knife, very carefully, to cut most of the way through the heat seals and then a small screwdriver to lever it apart).

Does what ti says!
Needed a switch for Flymo. Ransom came out top for price and ease of online. Full of details. Switch arrived by return post and fitted perfectly. Mower now up and running!

Flymo now as good as new
My Flymo wouldn't work so I looked online and found the Ransom Spares video on changing the switch. I took my Flymo apart and put it back together and it worked for a short while, but then stopped working again. I bought a new switch and fitted it as shown in the video and now it is working as good as new for under £10. Good service, fast despatch and easy to fit. Very satisfied.

Quality part
Good switch but it turned out to be the motor that needed replaced. Got that from ransom spares too. Lawnmower is now working great. Best prices I could find.

Great product
I really thought my flymo glider was for the landfill but this replacement part worked its magic. Mower started first go after part was fitted. Happy days!

How easy was that?
What a superb product and service from Ransom Spares (AGAIN!). FAST delivery, product exactly as ordered for a good price and so easy to fit - Even had a video on Youtube to walk me through it. It's a no brainer - I will be back for any more spares that I need in the future guys. WELL DONE.

Did the job!
I checked the video on the website before I started, so knew what I'd have to do. The switch was easy to replace thanks to the way flymo had designed things. The only tricky bit is correctly removing and installing the push fit connectors (you have to destroy the old switch to get the old wires out). It also helps to take some photos before you start to make sure you put the witres back correctly One suggestion would be to include a reference to the fitting videos on the invoice.
