Quality product, simple fit.
Ordered this fan motor to replace fan in my sons two year old Hotpoint oven. Motor was exactly same as the original motor, making fitting and electrical connections simplicity itself. Just hope it lasts longer than the one it replaced. Not the first time I have used ransomespares, never been disappointed.

Great, easy part
Arrived within a day or two. I knew my old motor was on it’s last legs as it took ages to speed the fan up to full speed and noisy. I started the job at 9.30pm and it was finished and the cooker back in place by 10.10pm. Once you’ve got the back off, removed the fan (from inside) it easily unboltes and disconnect the wires. Fitment of the new part is just as simple and OMG the fan really works well now (the wife burnt the tea the following night as it was so powerful again!!) Highly recommend ransomspares who confirmed to me (via email) that it sounded like it was the motor at fault when I gave them a description of what my cooker was doing/not doing.

It's a fan motor, there's not much more to say! Its a bit of a faf to fit as you need to take the oven out of it's housing, remove the fan & fixing screws from inside the oven but remove the electrical connections & motor from the rear.

Easy D.I.Y.
Part arrived just a few days after ordering it and I was really pleased that it matched the old original one perfectly. As I had read in other reviews it is best to take a photo of the 3 connection's at the back of the motor so as there is no mistakes when fitting the new one. I would not be the best diyer but found this easy to fit.

Oven fan very good.
This was the best priced item I could find. It is very good quality and and fitted easily. The fast delivery meant that I was able to get my oven working again without any great delay. I recommend Ransom Spares highly after my experience and will not hesitate to use them again if I ever have the need to do so.
