Motor Brushes
What can I say? Good quality brushes, arrived reasonably quickly. Not original Bosch [which I knew when I ordered] but at about one third of the price these seem to be a good buy. Had no issues fitting them but I did make life easier for myself by removing the motor. I would recommend doing this as it is only two motor bolts, the belt and an electrical connector to remove, then you can easily change the brushes on a workbench etc. Please remember to disconnect all power before delving inside a washing machine. Whole job took about 40 minutes. My model: Bosch WAE24164GB/22

Great value product
Washing machine is now running like a dream. These are fiddly to fit so be prepared, there are some good videos on YouTube to guide you.

Great Product - medium difficulty *
Great value for money - took about 30 mins after watching helpful video on "How to fit washing machine brushes" - part delivered within five working days - nb 1 packet contains two brushes * Medium difficulty as couldn't remove motor and had to use mirror to replace brushes in situ Saved ££££££'s by DIY

Part fits and works well but fitting difficult
No problem with Ransom Spares - correct parts supplied and delivered next day as expected and paid for. Only time will tell quality and value of parts supplied! Replacement of original carbon brushes in this particular 6 year old Bosch Classixx 1200 washing machine was more difficult than I had experienced with other makes and models before. Washing machine had to be disconnected and turned on its side and motor removed from mountings before these consumable parts could be fitted. This washing machine washes well but was not designed for easy repair!

Good price, Quite easy to fit
Decided to have a go at this project myself and managed really well for first attempt at washing machine. Parts arrived quickly and anyone with a practical side could take job on. You tube has some good clips for help.

Great Item, great price and speedy posting
I needed these to prevent a Christmas "meltdown" as the machine (which is over 10 years old) had chosen a most iconvenient time to fail. The Brushes supplied by ransoms fitted quickly and worked perfectly. Just as important they arrived within 2 working days which was imperative given the seasonal issues that were presenting themselves. Looks like I'll be coming back for bearings as the drum is a bit noisy. This is one of the "German made" Bosch machines and I'll be keeping it as long as I can and as long as Ransoms can supply spares.

Worked a treat !
Washewr stopped the spin cycle, so removed the brushes and found them worn out.. The missus was going mental so thought to get these ordered straight away.. Arrived really quickly and the fitment was quick (albeit one of the brushes needed to be fited by feel rather than visual due to location). Remember which way they fit to ensure they are not damaged.. (rotate the motor slowly by hand to ensure no grinding of the brushes first). Voila.. up and running and looking forward to another 6 years happy washing ! Thanks for the great service guys ! Will definitely use you again.
