Bosch brushes replacement
Easy to fit. Arrived later than expected but all good.

Bargain!
I needed these quickly as our washing machine drum wouldn't turn at all. Ransom Spares shipped quickly enough, but Royal Mail took longer than the 1 day I paid for - Ransom gave me a credit for this, so thank you to them. The parts fitted perfectly and it's an easy job anyway; I put the machine back together and it ran correctly first time. The brushes are a little noisy to start with until they bed-in and adopt the curve of the commutator, after which they are as quiet as new. Given the low cost of these parts they are an absolute bargain.

Replacing the replacement
Bought this set of brushes to replace the same set bought 3 years ago, they had split in half losing connection. Put same pair back in because this machine is 12 years old and cant last much longer !

straight forward fitting
The price was very competitive at the time ( 2013), after shopping around.The new brushes after almost continual use for 3 years have just failed (2016). On inspection after removal, it was discovered that one carbon brush had split in to two parts down the middle. very unusual.

Just the job
Replacing the worn out brushes with these replacements has breathed a new lease of life into our washing machine. Removing the motor and brushes was fairly simple following the examples on YouTube. Make sure you take photos of the various stages for reference later if needed. Pay particular attention to the orientation/angle of the leading head of the old brushes when removing them from the motor and replacing with the new ones. Fitting the new brushes in the motor is a little fiddly, especially the springs. Be careful not to damage the cable running down the middle of the spring.. Hence the 4 stars for fitting. Everything else good, including prompt service and delivery to enable us to get the machine up and running quickly.

Compatible carbon brushes fitted perfectly
As well as fixing a leak with the door seal, I bought these compatible carbon brushes. They fitted perfectly. I had to drill off the base plate screws of the washing machine though due to them being rusted tight due to the leak! The brushes went in a treat and then the washing machine finally burst into life, and it was leak free too :) The wife was a happy lady. kind regards, Stuart ps. the ransomspares online video's are brilliant! Good as the original
Very satisfied with product, a little fiddly to fit but this is down to design and not replacement part, would recommend as alternative to OEM part that costs much more.

Easy part to replace
this is the second set of brushes I have bought for our washing machine that is over 12 years old and still going strong. these brushes are an easy fit and do the job. each time we are saving nearly £100 by doing it ourselves great produce great price

carbon brushes
just the job. my washing machine wasn't spinning and, using the internet videos, I diagnosed it as being the old carbon brushes at fault. The motor was easy enough to remove and it turned out the old carbon brushes had worn down to be almost non-existent. the new ones were a perfect fit and the machine is good as new again!

Good value. Excellent service.
I chose this set of brushes over genuine parts on the basis of cost. At almost 4 times cheaper I thought they were excellent value for money. Whilst fitting the second brush the copper wire quickly separated from the retaining plate, naturally I was annoyed but I'm realistic and this kind of thing can happen with any product. I emailed ransom spares and asked for advice. Ransom Spares emailed me back in 6 minutes with a promise of sending out an immediate replacement set, no questions asked. I thought that was impressive, then, the next day I received a new set of brushes. I don't think you can beat that for good service, and the machine is running like new.
