Door seals prevents leaks during the wash and spin cycles
The exterior casing of the washing machine and the rubber gasket in the door seal fit securely together. While the machine is spinning and cleaning, soap or water cannot escape through this tight seal.
Signs you need to replace the door seal
The door seal rubber gasket needs replacement if it shows signs of wear, such as cracks, tears, or mould growth.
Water stains or rust near the door seal meeting the drum or frame suggest a faulty gasket, allowing water to leak. A worn gasket leads to more vibration and noise during washing as it can't stabilise the drum effectively and cause increased vibrations.

Exact replacement for door seal
This part was an perfect fit The original washing machine door rubber was destroyed by 'sharp' clothes! I am very pleased with Ransom for directing me to the correct part and supplying it promptly. Fitting it a bit of a fiddle, but plenty of silicone lubricant helps.
