Oven fan
Universal oven fan, bit worried as they couldn't recognise parts number, but fitted easily and works great, will be using company again and again

good product
The oven stopped working properly, would still heat up but took ages to cook anything, decided to change the fan as I could see it wasn't working. Ordered this part, fitted it in a few hours as it took ages to get access. One thing to remember is to order the gasket, as my old one was perished, still managed to re-use it, but would have been best if I had a new one. Fairly easy job once you have the cooker out.

Good Product
Good product that was delivered very quickly. As usual Ransom Spares supplied the part at the lowest price. Although the part was damaged on arrival one quick phone call and a replacement was dispatched which arrived the following day. Excellent all round service.

Still going strong
The original fan motor lasted 2 years 4 months, but this one is still going strong after 3 years. Needs access to the back of the oven to fit and will probably need a new insulation piece to go with it.

Just what I needed
My oven fan packed up and a look at Ransoms sourced the part I needed. It was complete with motor and fan blades and all ready to fit. It was not quite as easy as fitting an oven element, which I had previously done, because the oven needed to come out of the cabinet to get to the back. However, with the help of the very good video guides on the Ransom site it did not prove to be too difficult. I now have an oven that works perfectly, saved a great deal of money and have the great satisfaction of fixing it myself. I will always look at Ransoms for any other parts I might need in the future.

Straight forward to fit
Excellent service, product arrived within a couple of days - fairly easy to fit - although had to modify the back of t he oven. Otherwise same as the video instructions.

Probably my fault
The product was promptly delivered and the online help video was invaluable (though didn't reflect what it looks like behind my cooker :) ). However, although there are only three wires to connect - I managed to get it wrong and bust the thermostat in the cooker, so now the fan is on all the time. We have to switch it off at the wall now. Electric Fan For Belling Oven

Value for money and easy to fit!
Having never changed an oven motor and fan before I researched how to do this and of course the best price. The best price was Ransom and I was not surprised as I had purchased washing machine parts previously. It came quickly, and although it took me longer to fit than someone with experience, I did fit it and it worked!! Finally, if you want to save £50 then buy this, you can fit it if I can.

Exact replacement
This fan is an exact replacement and of equal quality to the item originally fitted to my Hotpoint EG51N MK 2 cooker. It represents good value for money when supplied by Ransom Spares. Although the fan securing screws are located within the oven, due to the cooker design it is necessary to dismantle the rear and side panels to access the item and the grease build up within the cooker and subsequent cleaning adds about 2 hours to the job. Allow about 3 hours for the overall task if the cooker has been in service over about 5 years. It is essential that you replace the insulator (Ransom Part No. RS9534) when carrying out the job. This fits between the fan front plate and the rear wall of the oven. Both the insulator and fan were delivered on time and Ransom were most helpful in identifying the matching insulator. The Ransom video is useful to give an overall idea of the fan securing arrangement.

Oven Fan
This was a good quality, competitively priced replacement for the old fan. It fitted easily and has given the oven a new lease of life. I paid extra for next day delivery which unfortunately was missed (not Ransom's fault), but it did arrive one day late. When I pointed this out my email was answered promptly with a clear explanation of the problem, and I was given a full and prompt refund of ALL postage, which I think was very fair. I can recommend this product and also their helpful and efficient customer service. I have used them before for spares and I shall certainly use them again.
