The fan motor was easy to fit. Fitted it in five mins then realized the positive wires wouldn't reach the connectors so took out the three screws turned the motor around till the wires would reach. Weellll, you live and learn. LOL. I think it took longer to take the rear panel off than replace the fan & motor. For some strange reason, I struggled like a don't what getting back on, when in the past when I've replaced the grill elements I've got it back on in minutes. Just need to sort out my fridge. It doesn't seem to be cold enough, drinks are cool but not cold. I've cleaned out the drain plug to the rear with that little plastic clean that's left in the drain hole. There is no clicking sound from the relay near the dispenser as that hums nicely. So it looks like a new fridge. LOL. Thanks for the parts.

Good delivery, perfect replacement
I replaced this by removing both the back of the cooker and the oven internal rear lining. It was a pretty good fit, leaving just a bit of a gap above the top screw. Definitely worth ordering a new Fan Motor Insulation Plate at the same time. It is so nice to have a quiet oven!

Main Oven Fan Motor
Despite awkward panels access, it was comparatively straight-forward to dismantle & replace the motor. Good product and functioning well. [Hint: take a photo of connections with mobile phone to ensure correct re-connection - my replacement motor's bolts location were about 60ºout of line with holes].

The exact item - super low price
I have a 15 year old Belling Cookmaster 130WGR. The fan packed up in the main oven and being reasonably handy I thought I'd have a go at replacing it. These ranges are basically a tin frame with some fancy external panels so it was easy to remove the back and see whats what. The fan came out by taking the inside back panel off and undoing 3 screws to release the fan. I took the electrical spade connectors off and refitted the replacement fan from Ransoms. Really easy. The fan was £15.25 - I did see some units for 4 times that on line! I'd use Ransoms every time now. And the kit came really quickly too. 10 out of 10.

Replacement oven fan
I found this fan listed, compatible, ordered and delivered all in reasonable time. It is not 100% the same as the original fan but it certainly looks at least equivalent. It fitted without issue and is happily in service.

Easy to fit though with modifications
The fan body was identical to the Indesit one I was exchanging but there were a couple of problems that needed to be sorted out. 1) The new fan does not come with a gasket, I managed to still use the old one but it was crumbling around the edges. 2) I had to use 2 X 11mm nuts and longer screws when I fitted the fan cover back on because the fan spindle was longer than the original therefore causing the fan to hit the fan cover. However, the fan works perfectly and I am pleased with the result.

FAN OVEN MOTOR
THIS FAN MOTOR WAS SAID TO BE AN ORIGINAL PRODUCT FOR SEVERAL OVENS BUT NOT MINE. IT WAS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT IN THE SPACING BUT THE FIXING HOLES ALL LINED UP. TO FIT THE FAN WAS A BIT OF A FIDDLE AND I MADE A FEW SMALL ALTERATIONS TO HOW IT FITTED. MY OVEN FAN IS NO LONGER SOLD AND SO THIS IS WHY I BOUGHT THE WRONG ONE BUT IT IS FITTED AND THE OVEN WORKS LIKE NEW AGAIN. DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE FACT THAT IT DOES NOT MENTION YOUR EXACT MODEL THE DIFFERENCE IS TINY AND JUST NEEDS A BIT OF THOUGHT TO ALTER. THE ORIGINAL MOTOR WAS £175-00 FROM THE FIRM THAT IS NOW BANKRUPT AND THIS ONE COST £17-10. PRICE SEEMS WRONG COMPARED BUT IT IS A GOOD ALTERNATIVE.

Excellent value
Had a problem with my fan oven tripping the RCD when opening the door. I don't have a megohmmeter so bought a new door switch (a bit expensive for what it was) thinking that was the problem, but no. After more head scratching I concluded that the fan must be the culprit. I was very sceptical when I saw the price, and expected a 'Micky Mouse' item, but it appears to be the same as my original and has fixed the problem. Happy customer.

What a difference
Old oven fan was on a go slow. After replacing with this new fan we have to turn the oven to a much lower setting. Can't really fault the fan so far. Fitting was not super easy because you neeed to pull the oven out and take off panels. That is not the fan's fault, though.
