Ordered this part as our fan oven stopped heating up and a search suggested this was what was most likely the problem. Arrived very promptly and was so easy to fit. Oven back up and running for a fraction of the cost of getting an engineer out.

Using the schematics,identified what part was required. Ordered part and arrived next day.Fitting was a five minute job, really was easy to do. Some people would have bought a new cooker!

Easy to fit, great price.
We found Ransom Spares by googling the issue we had with our oven (no heat!) A solution popped up by way of a video made by Ransom Spares on how to change the element. It looked really easy and the parts were all very competitively priced. My husband had a look at our existing element and it was obvious that it'd blown, the website was really easy to use and you can search with your serial number to ensure you don't order the wrong part by mistake! A couple of days later (could have had next day but chose not to) our part arrived and was as easy as promised to fit and has fixed the problem completely. We now think that the old element had been 'on its way out' for a while as the oven is running more efficiently and our food is cooking better. And breathe, ha ha! Over-all hugely impressed with Ransom Spares and their products and would not hesitate to use them again/recommend to all!

Superb Service And Home Education Video To Repair Yourself.
Again, watched one of Ransom's video's on how to repair your oven. Ordered the part and did it all myself. The great part of all this is that you save an enormous amount of money because you do not require an engineer that would charge you £150, plus a call out fee. Ransom have saved me hundreds of pounds because I have watched their video's and done four repair jobs all myself. I have now repaired my lawn mower twice and also my oven twice. Brilliant service all round.

Ordered replacement oven element. Website extremely helpful. Item arrived in good time and was exactly the part needed. It was a genuine spare not a cheap copy and simple to fit . I am very happy with the product great price saved me a fortune. I will definately use this company again .

Great value
This is the second replacement item that I have fitted to my Electrolux Insight cooker. It's about 6-7 years old so you would start to expect that things go wrong. First I replaced the fan motor and now this heating element. Have to say that both are very easy to do if you are comfortable using a screwdriver and prepared to get your hands a bit dirty. I would recommend going to Youtube first and checking out how the disassembly and re-assembly is done. It is straightforward and you don't need any specialist tools to do either. Naturally use common sense and isolate the cooker first! This has to be the best £25 I have spent and everything is working fine. Strongly recommend that you give it a go. At these prices you have very little to lose as the equivalent 'engineer' replaced service I would imagine is £100+. Highly recommend the site
