Easy to fit fan element
Initially, I was not sure if I had the right element for my John Lewis double oven because although the element was compatible with a later model I could not confirm compatibility with my model. However, the technical data on the site was identical and I ordered with confidence. Delivery was quick and as promised. Fitting took a few minutes and required few DIY skills and was done from inside the oven without removing the cooker. Remember to isolate the electricity supply before commencing work.

1900W Fan Element for Zanussi Oven - ordering & fitting
So identifying and ordering the correct part was a breeze on the web site. Also having the extra benefit of the "How to" fitting video on the web site gave me the confidence to change it myself. If I had one small criticism it would be that the element wasn't packed very well and was just "floating" around inside quite a large box (for the item), fortunately no damage had occurred in transit, but I could see how it could have been due to the lack of bubble wrap or the like. Overall through an excellent experience with Ransom spares. Only tips I could offer to any future DIYers is to make sure that you - A/use the correct Phillips bit size to suit the fans/element protective cowl. B/ if the screws do not move easily then avail yourself of a small ratchet hex wrench set to give you more leverage rather than risk "mullering" the screw head with a normal screwdriver and not being able to remove the fans/element cowl. C/ When reassembling screw the screws in fully and then back them off by a turn to aid future removal. Heats provided by the element when the oven is hot will close any gap and prevent any possible vibration, but when cold they should be easier to remove.

My first oven element failed to be delivered when it said it had been. Ransom Spares very kindly sent me a 2nd element very quickly. Eventually I received both elements in the post so I am returning the 2nd one I received having already had the 1st element fitted. So excellent customer service all round 😊

Oven element
Great service. Arrived in a couple of days. I fitted it in 10 minutes. I'm no oven fitter but watched the videos, undid the 4 cover screws. Undid the 2 element holding screws pulled off the two cables and reversed the process. Simple, no issues, works perfectly. Great price, great service, easy to fit. Thank you.

AEG Fan Oven Element
Quick delivery and well packaged. Fitted easily once my husband managed to get the fan cover removed - which hadn't been touched in over twelve years - assisted by an overnight helping of WD40.

Excellent product, very quick delivery
When the element in my IKEA fan oven died, I ordered this replacement and paid extra for express delivery, expecting it to arrive within 48 hours as advised. Imagine my surprise when it was delivered the following day, less than 24 hours from ordering. Great service indeed. The part was well packed, looks identical to the one it replaces, and was easy to fit. My fan oven is now working better than ever. The total cost of this high quality part and express deilvery was considerably less than just the call-out charge for a local repairer, never mind the estimated cost for the repair itself - and it only took me a few minutes to fit (an easy job for just about anyone, I'd say). I'm delighted with my purchase, the service from ransom spares, my good-as-new oven, the satisfaction of repairing it myself and - of course - the money I've saved. Brilliant!!

great value easy replacement
Our oven failed a week before Xmas, unable to get a repairman in time I found this replacement element & fitting looked simple (did not require oven to be removed from the kitchen unit). Installation was super easy, it was a perfect replacement for the failed element in the oven. Felt really proud of myself! 2/3 the price of other parts website, delivered quickly & seems to work as well as the original. Saved Xmas that's for sure!

No problem with produce, just delivery time.
I ordered the part on a Monday and received it the following Monday. The delay was due in the main to the postal strike, which I know is beyond your control, unless you use a different carrrier. The interesting part is that the part left you on the Tuesday from Yeovil, on Friday I got an email from the postoffice saying that it was in Milton Keynes! Then another email to say it arrived at Plymouth on the Sunday to be delivered to me in Bodmin on the Monday. I do not have a problem with the parts that you suplly, just the delivery on this occasion. Regards, Mike Grigg.

Great part, works well
Changed the element hoping it would stop the oven tripping the breaker after a couple of minutes. The element works fine but sadly didn't fix the earth leak; I'll try disconnecting the fan next. If that works I'll be back to Ransom for a replacement fan.
