Perfect fit rubber seal replacement!
Replaced the original rubber door seal on our Bosch, Ecosilence WAQ ... washing machine. Easy to find the part, chose the more expensive Bosch, original as the replacement. It arrived the next day. Found a you tube video that matched this type of washer (top removal required). It took me about 30 mins to access and remove the original damaged rubber seal. Then took my son and I another 20 mins for the replacement ... most of the time spent stretching the spring on the outer portion of the seal. (The springs are pretty stiff (old and new).) I can't fault the service, delivery and quality of the new seal and the process! Price was a bit expensive but I chose the Bosch product and can't complain. I've used ransom Spares before and found them excellent then too. Will definitely use again when the occasion arises for a replacement!

Replacement door seal
Always viewed changing a door seal with trepidation and whilst it is necessary to take half the machine to bits, the change was relatively straight forward, although stretching the outer spring took some effort. Seal arrived in post in good time, but did initially fear the wrong part had been sent as the serial No. on the package did not bear any resemblance to the Bosch part No. However all turned out good. No black mould any more and all looks like new. Very reasonable price too. Will use Ransom again if the need arises.

Good product
Door seal supplied was of good quality, second time I have used these guys, would do so again. Unfortunately the delivery was delayed a little through German inefficiency! No problem there for me though! Not Ransome's fault!

Quality Product delivered quickly
I needed a replacement door seal as the existing seal had developed a bad case of black mould. Ordered part from Ransom's website which made it easy to get the correct door seal. Part arrived very well packaged. Fitted it OK but both straps were difficult to fit, being very tight. However everything installed OK and machine is back in working order. Good price compared to other suppliers so I am very happy.

Perfect fit & great quality
Ordered a door seal for my Bosch washing machine and it turned up pretty quick. The item was top quality and fitted perfectly albeit quite awkward to fit it in places due to the washing machine not the part. The video on the website was easy to follow and aided the fitting no end.

Bish Bash Bosch...
Our Bosch washing machine is in regular use and try as we might to dry the door seal there are times we forget, consequently the seal suffers from the infuriating "mould" marks over time. The original seal was still doing its job and sealing, but was looking quite grotty and would occasionally mark the clean clothes as they were removed. A quick consultation of the Ransom Spares' "How to Replace a Washing Machine Door Seal (Bosch)" video eliminated any doubt that this would be an effective answer... replace the door seal. So the OEM seal was ordered and delivered a couple of days later. Our washing machine was slightly different to the model featured in the DIY video and there was no need to remove the counterweight(s). Once things not mentioned in the video, but was mentioned in a similar YouTube video... wiping the new seal, where it has to fit, with a washing up liquid solution really assists in getting the new seal to slip into place. A second pair of hands does come in handy when attaching the seal, rather like fitting a tyre to a bicycle wheel... it wants to jump off the bit you have just attached as your hands move around the seal. A pair of long nosed pliers was used to pull the spring on the wire of the outer seal and to compress the retaining clip from seal to washing powder drawer. Torx bit to remove the front and top panels, other wise no special tools required. The seal is not one of the cheaper ones available so I am hoping (time will tell) this more expensive OEM seal will have a good service life. I am happy to recommend RamsonSpares and will visit the website again should I require to repair any other of the family's domestic appliances.

My first purchase from this supplier
This is my first purchase from Ransom Spares and was for a new washing machine front door seal. The seal arrived 2 days after order placement, suitably packed, and was exactly as required for our Bosch machine. Fitting of the seal was 'challenging' but all went well and wife is now pleased that there isn't any more leaks. I would use Ransom Spares again without hesitation.

Tried my patience
I watched the fitting videos, identified the correct part number, and was pleased to see the replacement door seal that arrived for my wife's Bosch washing machine looked good. Generally speaking, the fitting went well until the very end. Getting the outer new wire securing ring in place proved very difficult, and I spent a good couple of hours developing a fitting technique that worked. After that, I was euphoric! Job done! Well worth the effort to create a very clean seal.

Does what it didn't say on the packet!
Identification of the required product was made easy using the website's search engine. Excellent quality product which was purchased at a highly competitive price. Delivered quickly although next time I will probably pay the extra for a faster delivery as washing clothes by hand is not much fun. Genuine part which was so much easier to fit because I had viewed the excellent video provided by Ransom Spares. Hoefully I will not be making a future purchase but if I need a spare part I will certainly go to Ransom Spares first.

Good OEM Part
I replaced this part because the seal had become mouldy is some of the folds and had started to mark washed items when they were being removed. The part is of good quality as would be expected for an Original Equipment Manufactured part. It is more pricey than non OEM but you know that it will fit and will be good quality so will hopefully now outlast the rest of the machine. As mentioned in other reviews fitting is straight forward enough except for fitting the retaining band on the drum. An extra hand is desirable. As no one else was about a foot came in to play as a third hand substitute.
