Good product
Ordered this bulb for our cooker during the Covid19 period. It came quickly and gave us light in our oven which made cooking much easier. Have used Ransom Spares many times and they have always been reliable.

Good Quality Product
Bought two light bulbs for our oven, they are good quality and fitted in 1st time (unlike the bulb bought from local shop). the four star for value I gave as I thought Twelve pounds odd was quite expensive for two bulbs, however, I would still buy them again as they are such good quality, and I suppose quality always costs. they came well packaged and on time.

Oven Bulb 40W
Purchased this to replace blown example in Bosch built-in oven. Although omitted from initial purchase in error the item ultimately arrived swiftly as promised by the agent who dealt with my query over the missing item. Fitting was straight forward, but for ease of access required removal of the oven door in order to reach the recessed glass cover screwed into the ceiling of the oven. Once fitted and tested the illumination provided was excellent with the oven returned to original brightness once the glazed cover had been washed.

First class as usual
What can you say about a light bulb? The price is OK. I buy 2 at a time and each one lasts just about one year so considering the temperature at which they work, this is a good result. The service is always good and the bulbs come well protected. It is unusual these days to still be using filament lamps, I am not aware of an energy saving alternative.

Ideal replacement bulb
Ideal replacement lamp. Gives good illumination and is correctly rated for heat resistance. The first lamp delivered was smashed to bits in transit but was speedily replaced. Could do with better packaging to avoid damage.

Replacement oven bulb
Was having difficulty in acquiring a 40 watt oven bulb then remembered Ransoms Spares from a previous unrelated search for spares. Sure enough they stocked the exact item. Wanted it in a hurry so went for next day delivery. Was a bit concerned as there was no tracking information but sure enough the item arrived the next day. Very please with the product and the service.
