Very good replacement item
Very pleased with this PCB replacement for a Baumatic Cooker Hood Extractor. Just a little concerned as this is the second replacement RS265465 replacement item - the first replacement has failed after just 2 years whilst the original had lasted 15 years! Fingers crossed this time!

Great product and service
Product was easy to replace and worked 100% I was concerned it would not solve the issue, I had replaced the push buttons a few months ago, the website suggested this part would cause the new issue and it works perfectly now

Good but
I received this product in good time but the capacitor that is sent with it separately is not compatible because the plug on it doesn’t match the fitting on the PCB so l was not able to use it luckily for me the original was ok so re used that one instead so disappointed .

Great product
This is working very well - needed professionals to fit it as dismantling the cooker hood is quite difficult. The guys said something about the new capacitor not fitting - I think they used the old one. The different fan speeds don't seem as different from each other as they were before but I'm not too bothered about that as we mainly use the hood for its lights. Thanks for your service and advice - I'll certainly buy from you again.

I located this part easily, ordered it and replaced the unserviceable apart easily. I will definitely order further spares from the guys again if required.

Baumatic Cooker Hood Board
Can't say enough about Ransom's, easily located the part I wanted, ordered it and it was here the next day! Easy transaction. The part itself was fiddly to fit, but with some patience I managed to do it (quite proud of myself) and I now have a fully functional cooker hood again :)

Excellent product
After the lights on my cooker hood failed I had the obvious choice, buy and fit a complete new hood or try and find the parts to repair it. The Ransom Spares site is user friendly and they promptly dispatched the required pcb, which was easy to fit and the hood was quickly back up and running. This turned out to be around 25% of the price of buying and fitting a new hood so very cost effective. I would recommend Ransom Spares to anyone.

Correct Diagnosis
My Baumatic extractor fan suddenly stopped working and having established that there was a live supply to the unit I decided that the fault lay with the pcb or the switch unit. I guessed that it was most likely to be the former. Since some websites sell the pcb for over £70 I did toy with the idea of buying a complete new extractor fan and cannibalising it for spares since they are readily available for less than £120. In the end I ordered from Ransom because it was considerably cheaper at £52 delivered. It is a bit fiddly to fit because one has to dismantle the chimney to get at the pcb but apart from that it was not difficult. When fitted the unit operated perfectly.

Value/good quality/easy to fit
My Baumatic BT6.3GL had an issue where it wouldn't power both the lights & the fan on my hood. I was advised by my electrician to replace the PCB button control which didn't fix my issue. I diagnosed the HOOD PCB RS265465 myself which sorted my issue once and for all. Fitting time 30mins. This is a common problem with quite a few cooker hoods. I hope this info helps someone else with similar issues.

Great product, hard to fit
Bought this PCB and if you are not an electrician you will struggle to fit it; I replaced this unit in Baumatic cooker hood and there was different connection terminals and a capacitor missing so I had to replace one from old unit - a little bit hassle. Except that it is still working...

value for money, fast delivery
There's not really much to say about this replacement PCB apart from it should be fitted by a competent person as you need to dismantle the whole cooker hood assembly to achieve access to the replacement part. Good price on the whole and fast delivery by Ransom Spares - well done As an electrical contractor we do use source appliance spare parts Ransom Spares on occasions when required.

Did what it said on the tin!
Ordered the part and it arrived promptly. Installed it and the cooker hood started working again. Unbelievable did what it said on the tin!
