I found this item very good and very easy to fit with easy instructions so it was even easy for a 70 year old to fit.

Henry PCB replacement
The PCB was easy to fit when you dismantle the vacuum (several screws). The problem arose when trying to locate the fault down to component level with a multimeter. You have to do cold checks on the mains cable and internal leads, then the switches. After checking the brushes and brass contacts I then had to check the PCB but with no schematic and the PCB having surface mount components I could not check it; I had to make a lead to check the motor carefully, and with a quick flip of the mains switch it worked. I ordered a PCB and when fitted; a working vacuum again. There are probably easier ways to go about fault finding a Henry but this is how I did it.

The new circuit board did the job and Henry now is working at both speeds.

Good kit, good price.
The replacement part (PCB) has the cleaner up and running again. Simple to follow guides and instructions - cleaner now works perfectly, job done. Quick service so very pleased.

Brought Henry back to life!
I've never known a "Henry" break down before but after doing a few checks I decided to replace the PCB. This arrived in fairly quick time and was easy to fit, although I did need to consult the wiring diagram supplied, as the terminal arrangement was slightly different to the original. Quality is good and the fit is perfect. Happy to report that Henry is now fully fit!

Henry Hoover Replacement ECB
The replacement ECB works perfectly and allows the High/Low power settings and the On/Off switches to work normally. So in terms of replacing the existing ECB, it's a perfect replacement. However the part is not visually identical to the original part. A circuit diagram is provided but for the lay-person, it's quite difficult to work out which wire to connect to which port. I had to use a YouTube video to work it out. I think a "dummies" diagram i.e. "connect the black wire here and the red wire here" etc would be very useful. Otherwise buy with confidence in a fully compatible part.

Pleased to have Henry working again
Easy to find the right part and very prompt service. The online video gave me the confidence to have a go. Couldn't have done it without the wiring diagram. I did wonder whether it was the thicker, re-usable bag I had just started to use that made the pcb go. Have gone back to paper bags, just in case.

Great product, easy to fit
Rejuvenated an otherwise defunc Henry for a fraction of the replacement price using this item. The service, despite an error on my part during the installation, was generous and cheerful in the extreme. Thank you!

Replacing a Henry Hoover PCB
I watched the video online first and ordered the part after seeing how easy it was. Unfortunately the part was not identical to the one I was replacing so the wires to connections were not a straight match, however a wiring diagram was included with the part and i'm no electrician but it was simple enough to follow the diagram and fit the part. Maybe update your video online ?
