Part arrived promptly. Well I never thought I could repair an oven but so simple after watching video. Saved a fortune on calling someone out. My oven now works perfectly and is really quiet.

Excellent
Speedy delivery and easy to fit by DIY amateur. Simple to fit once double cooker was removed from cupboard housing. Would suggest the fan motor insulation plate between fan and oven replaced at the same time as the pads are fairly brittle - I'm not sure why they are so easy to damage and that product could be improved. Would definitely use this company again.

HOTPOINT OVEN FAN MOTOR
Excellent service ordered online and delivered the next day. Fitted perfectly and about one third of the cost from the original makers. This will now be my go to site for any future spares.

Slightly different and easy'ish to install
The main fabric of the item is identical but spade connectors are different locations. Also the fan blade itself and the nut that held it didnt fill me with confidence as seemed cheap. I had a double oven so was a two man lift to get it out so I could remove the back of the oven to gain access, this was the hardest thing about replacing the fan but if you have a smaller under-counter oven then I'm sure it would be easier like the "how-to" videos on the Ransom spares website

Fixed my oven. Like new again.
After noticing our oven fan had become reluctant to start, I looked at how to fix it. Ransom’s great “how to do it” video showed it was perfectly doable, and the new fan was very reasonably priced and looked identical to the original. The part arrived on time, fitting was as per the video and it has completely restored the oven. Way to go. Thanks Ramsom.

Good value and easy to fit following online video
Had forgotten I used Ransomespares in the past. They are very good value compared to manufacturers spare parts. The motor arrived loose in a cardboard box but was in damaged. The wiring colours differed from those on the fan being replaced but otherwise very easy to fit. The fan works and no need to replace the oven! No expensive repair charges either. So all in all very happy!

Hotpoint oven fan
HI! I have a hotpoint double oven DH93CX. The fan in the back of the oven would stick until the oven was hot so sourced a new unit from Ransoms Spares. New fan looked very similar to old unit and had the same connections and after removing the oven from the cabinet the new fan fitted in easily. The connectors were at a slightly different angle but still connected properly. £0 minutes and the oven was back in and working. thanks Mike Jones
