Arrived on time, was high quality and once we had looked on YouTube how to fit it, the part worked perfectly. It might have been helpful to have some fitting instructions with it as we spent ages wondering how the part fitted until we resorted to YouTube. But would definitely buy from here again.

Universal Hinge Repair
Product has two widths in hinge shaft so can be a weak point if machine is unbalanced in load with pressure on door. Easily fitted but may also need connectors and the pair of front door replacements (the back plate is prob unecessary but comes in kit) - needed probably to scew into. Swap the door latch over from old one, its easy. Do find out why machine is off balance or belt likely to break/stretch. Fits old Creda models not listed as over 10 yrs.

Excellent Replacement
Great to repair hinge, the original must have had weak casting and I should have been bold enough to replace long ago. Take Machine Top of first and use sticky tape to stop nuts falling out of position, otherwise commonsense needed as video showed both sides of part but not how to fit it. Needed bearings and the double part of door as these had split due to fault. Remember to save glass and door knob. Creda Machine 8 yrs old now working fine. Saved £300 on equivalent new machine which is predicted to last only 5 yrs! Ordered delivered standard PO and fitted within the week.

My wife is happy - the washing machine is back in action
This hinge looks every bit as good as the original. It came within a couple of days with the cheap postage and was adequately but sensibly packaged so the postman could get it through the letterbox instead of the normal trail to the sorting office with the Failed Delivery card. It only took a few minutes to fit. It takes longer to figure out exactly how the door assembly comes apart than it does to fit once the old bits are out. I was fitting it to a Creda but the video I'd seen was a Hotpoint - so it was slightly different. In retrospect it would have been easier to unclip the door rubber so you could hold the backplate in place - I was trying to do that reaching from the top so I needed three hands. Cheaper than the opposition too. Win Win.
