Ordered replacement element. Old one was a bit of a pain to get out but once I did, I knew what to do. Replacement part was good value and came very quickly (within 48 hours on standard delivery). The measurements of the replacement part are not quite the same as the original therefore it needed a bit of persuasion to get in but once sorted, all works fine. Very happy with service and speed of delivery. Just the slight difference in dims loses the 5th star. Otherwise, very happy and will use again.

Neff element replacement
Good value for money - seems to be working ok, the Neff oven we have requires that the fan cover and fan has to be removed before you can change the element. The fan locking nut is clockwise to undo.

Great value. Not so easy to fit.
Easy to remove main fixing screws. The problems start when you try to remove the centre support bracket screw. This screw is behind the circulation fan and there is no access. On the oven I was repairing the fan would not come off the motor spigot because of 10 years heat. Slacken off the fan motor fixings screws and you should get enough room to remove the screw. Removing is not easy but do-able. Refit new element and tighten fan screws.

Why pay more?
There is a considerable price difference between an original and compatible version of this heating element. I was told the manufacturers version should last a lot longer but I am sceptical as I cannot see the opportunity to engineer this item significantly better. Easy to fit, good price, good service generally but delivery was a bit slow as it came by RM parcels

Efficient delivery, Quality product
I ordered a heating element for my Neff double oven. The order was placed and the product arrived within 2 days (normal delivery). It was exactly as ordered,easy to fit and I will definitely use Ransoms again based on this experience.

Fast delivery and great price
This is the third of these I have fitted. The last was an 'original manafacturer' version purchased locally and cost 3 times as much and lasted half as long as my original Ransom replacement element. I have ordered from Ransom Spares again and could not be happier. Very fast delivery, great price and easy to fit. It is always a bit fiddly fitting these as the hole for the wires is small on our oven - trick for us is to bend the connectors slightly to the left at a 45 degree angle. The video is good too if you have never changed an element.

Great product, nightmare to fit
The product seems good, arrived promptly and is excellent value for money. However, it was a nightmare for my husband to fit as it needed to go behind the fan, which was virtually impossible due to the clasp thing that was attached to the top of the U element. Ok, so he didn't read all the other reviews which explained that it could be tricky and as our oven is at least 7 year old (+ however long the previous owners had it) all the screws that needed to be undone were well and truly welded in (thanks to all the lovely roasts we have!) - although it was the position of where the element had to go was the tricky bit. But he got there in the end (with a few war wounds on his hands to prove it) and if you have a good DIY brain then sure you can manage it too. The oven is back working perfectly and you have saved me £700 or so by not needing to buy a new oven. Thank you

element arrived on time - quality looks fine, i had to make an adjustment to enable it to fit through the recess once the wires are fitted, the male ends are at the wrong angle for easy fitting to my particular oven, a Neff, however no major complaints and will await to see how long it lasts

Oven Repaired
Product exactly as described and good value. Whilst not easiest thing to fit, follow the guidance and it can be done. No need to call out a repair man.

1800W Fan oven element
As a repeat customer I ordered this part from Ransom for my older style NEFF fan assisted oven. For years I paid a technician to come out stand there, inhale sharply and tell me the cost. This element is so easy to fit I had my 10 year old help me connect up the wires. The hardest part was adapting the bracket to fit the design of my oven but that's a problem with NEFF not with the part. One hacksaw later, a job well done. Ordering was piece of cake. The website is fast and easy to use with the re-order tab. I ordered on Monday and the element was delivered later that week. A fast simple speedy service that was faultless. Another bonus was the price was lower than the last element I ordered. These days that is indeed a rare thing. Well done Ransom. Order it and have a go, you won't be disappointed.

Replacement oven element
I have had my element replaced twice in two years by local trades people with genuine parts. I have now replaced the element myself with a compatible part at a fraction of the price. I found Ransomspares easy to use and the parts were deliverers very quickly.

Element fitted perfectly
This compatible fan oven element fitted straight into the oven and has now been working perfectly for the last week. Well worth paying for next day delivery to get my oven working again. Seems good value for money compared with paying for branded make element. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

some problems
fitting to a neff oven it was necessary to cut off the top bracket to make it fit. Could have been a problem if it was a faulty element and did not work but fortunately all was well
