Good price, quick service, not so easy to fit.
Removing the old element was straightforward, fitting this one wasn’t. Seems the radius is slightly less than the outgoing element as once the end screws were in, the centre mounting hole was too low. I had to file the slot a bit longer, put the centre screw in first, then force the now slightly mis-aligned end screws in. Once in, it’s working fine, so fingers crossed.

Great service, worts but a pain to fit
Great service as always from Ransome Spares but this time I went for the compatible version and have to say it's not made to the same spec as the original. Was a bit of a pain to fit because the bend and center bracket didn't line up and without it, it stopped the fan spinning. And the end bars were about 2mm longer than the original which meant they didn't just slide into the hole. Should have been a 10min job but actually took nearly an hour faffing about.

BOSCH COOKER ELEMENT
Ordered the cheaper element as it's just to tide us over until new cooker /kitchen in new year arrived promptly , good price and fitted it OK with a bit of bending & jiggerly /pokery of the top bracket which was slightly different to the old one but really good once fitted as oven heats up lovely now, so overall very happy with this .

Excellent value for money
Needed to replace element. Asked ransomspares and got advice. There was a delay of couple of days in arriving but otherwise product was well protected, arrived in a sealed pack. It wasn't exact match to old Bosch element. But with a little persuasion it worked. Would recommend.

Bit of trouble at first.
Used this part for a bosch fan oven, had some issues as the pipes were a little out of shape meaning the top fastener wouldn't line up so I had to bend it into shape. Once installed works great, 4 weeks since installation and no issues.

Nice product, fitting fairly straight forward
The product arrived only a few days after ordering, and was easy to fit. It has been functional since, cannot comment on long term quality, as only had it for about a month.

Great value product
Replacement element for a NEFF oven. Fitted reasonably easily, as it is placed at the rear of the oven.

Great
Perfect replacement part worked no problems. Make sure once you change the element that your thermostat is working. i.e. switched the element on and off when you turn it as this may have been the reason it broke in the first place.

Cheep part got me baking again!
Having a new kitchen fitted in a few months so just needed a cheap element to keep our old oven going until then. Didn’t take long to fit (the last person to change the element hadn’t used the central screw behind the fan) only about 15 minutes. Not sure how long it will last, but works well right now (my wife was very pleased with her surprise birthday cake, phew!)

Good Value Product
Paid twice as much the last time I replaced the element in the Neff oven that's about 13 years old now, so that was a good start this time. As always, getting the fan off the motor is the tricky bit given the floor-level access to our oven. The holes on this part didn't line up as well with the oven as previous replacements but I managed to get enough screws back into place to hold it securely and stop it moving due to vibration from the fan and motor. So far so good but we'll see how long it lasts in due course.

A replacement part which fits exactly for the appliance as described. A little awkward but be patient, just replace as removal.

Easy to fit, workable quality
I've fitted a couple of these replacement oven elements in recent years. They are roughly half the price of the manufacturer's own part price - but is it a false economy? Fitting is easy enough (to my Siemens fan oven), and there are easy-to-follow videos on Youtube showing you how to do it. Quality-wise they seem to be a little below the manufacturer's original spec: with both elements I noticed that the oven struggled to achieve the absolute top temperature (but how often do you need full-on 230C in a fan oven, and is the temperature sensor accurate anyway?) and one end of the curved element appears to glow hotter than the other, which may not bode well for longevity. In fact, the first replacement element lasted just two years or so, and the second has been in service for just over a year, so only time will tell.... The original element lasted over 6 years, so if the second replacement one fails similarly early I will opt for the manufacturer's own element next time, on the assumption that the QA is better.
