good product, a slight mis-match gave some difficulty fitting
The part did not exactly match the original because the tab opposite the connections required a self-tap screw, (the original just had a locating tab). drilling a fresh hole for the self-tap screw was the only difficulty, otherwise the installation was straightforward.

Great value product.
Fitting of the element was very easy. Gaining access to the area was hard as screws had ceased. I would advise everyone to maintain screws in oven, heat can cause them to cease. After gaining access was a 2 min job. Works great!

Saved me a fortune!
When the element failed in our oven I thought I would have to call out an engineer and pay a large repair bill. Thankfully I found a video from Ransom's on You Tube showing me how to do it myself. I ordered the part on their website on Friday evening and it arrived the following Tuesday. After watching the video, fitting the replacement element was a simple operation taking no more than about 20 minutes and the oven has been working perfectly for several weeks now. I saved a lot of money and didn't have to wait around all day for an engineer to call - perfect!

Great product, exceptional service
What a great website! I would never have thought that a non heating oven would be so cheap to fix, and the excellent video made fitting incredibly simple. My first element got damaged in the mail, but RansomSpares quickly despatched a new one without any problems, which when arrived (2 days delivery), was fitted and working in about 5 minutes. I could not recommend their service higher.

Quality product, great price, easy to fit. Very pleased.
When my fan assisted oven suddenly stopped working, generating no heat at all, I immediately sought answers on Google. I quickly came to the conclusion that it was indeed the fan element which had failed. I got quotes from local repair shops of between £60 & £80, including labour. I found that Ransom spares provided not only the most reasonable price for compatible replacement, but they also had excellent feedback, which is also important. I was pleasantly surprised that the replacement was very easy to fit, it can be done in around 20 minutes. Simple & easy. I'm very pleased that I saved myself around £50 in labour costs for something that is easily & safely repairable using basic everyday tools. I highly recommend purchasing this product. You will save yourself some money, which is always a good thing.

I watched a 'fit it yourself' oven element video. I have very limited DIY skills, but the spare was exactly like the broken element I removed - it went back on easily and now my oven is as good as new. pleased with the product, and most importantly, pleased with myself!

As described, easy to fit
When our oven broke we were faced with the choice of either a costly repair, which didn't seem worth it on our several years old cheap oven, or buying a new one. After watching the video on how to replace a heating element on ransom spares, and seeing how cheap they were to order, I felt inspired to give it a go. The order was easy to place and arrived promptly. The fitting, even for a complete novice, proved easy. I really couldn't believe I managed to fix our own oven. Thanks for saving me a few hundred pounds!

l ordered the element for the cooker. it was delivered by post in the time said on the order. The element fitted just like the old element that came out and l am very pleased with the product.

Well priced product
You will not find a cheaper fan oven element for this application. Identical to the Original Equipment version and fits exactly. Of course Ransom's always process and deliver orders very quickly which all helps.

Service as I remember it
Products were well packaged to avoid transit damage, and fitted perfectly. The tutorial video reminded me of the counter thread on the fan shaft. The only note I would add is to check the fan speed if an element fails, my fault. But again fist class service as when they had their shop

Budget price element
Fitted by my son (first time for him) who says. A little bit of fiddling required as the size was a bit larger than the original. Overall though an easy job and the oven is working well again, we are very pleased with the price and service from Ransoms. Recommended thank you. Regards Ray.
