Easy to order, arrived promptly
Ordered a fan element and 2 lights for my mother's very old oven that is over 30 years old and is in otherwise very good working order. Not only did they find the parts for me, but sent it well packaged and very promptly. All fitted in under 30 minutes. Very happy.

Great product
It was easy to find the part I needed on the website. The part arrived on the day it was due! It was easy to fit, although it would of been useful to have instructions with it. I would recommend.

Oven heating element
Cannon oven heating element had failed, having previously ordered cooker and washing machine spares from Ransom spares, I ordered the heating element after inputting the model number. Element arrived shortly and 10mins after arriving element fitted and oven now working again.

Totally compatible replacement, easy to fit
I chose the non-genuine replacement element for my Cannon fan oven and this turned out to be an excellent choice. The element was well packaged in sealed plastic bag by the manufacturer, with the electrical contacts further protected in foam. This was further protected by RansomSpares delivery box. The element was an exact match in form,fit and function for the original item and took only 2 min to install (hint: only if you ensure the leads are secured so they can't disappear through the holes!). In summary, an excellent replacement element ... it was inexpensive and delivered rapidly.

Cheap but good
I bought this ‘cheaper ’ one as the ‘expensive genuine ‘ one I had bought just over a year ago, from another supplier, had just blown. It was for a Cannon Professional double oven. To my surprise this new one was a much better fit and both turns of the element fitted into ovens bracket whereas the the old one would only allow one turn of the element to go in the bracket due to different sizes of the element. So in my case this purchase was a third of the originals price and better!

Excellent product
The element broke in my Belling Format 644 and whilst it may be an older cooker I didn't want to fork out hundreds of pounds buying a new one. The element we purchased from Ransom Spare was much cheaper than other suppliers and fitted perfectly and in less than a hour I had my cooker working as good as new.

Brilliant!
When my oven stopped heating up I expected to have to buy a new cooker, pay to get it installed and to remove the old one - a bill of at least £300. Everything else on the cooker was still working, so I decided to see if I could source a new element (which was what I thought the problem was.) I watched a video about changing the element and ordered the new one, which arrived a few days later. The total cost was £12.95. In less than an hour, the new element was in place, the oven was working again - and I feel smug!

Perfect part for the job
The element was easy to fit and has worked well since (though not used much). I have complete faith in Ransom Spares and I feel sure it will outlast the oven.

Perfect for Hotpoint EW 81P
Our freestanding main oven failed to heat up. We weren't sure if it was the element or thermostat at fault. Ransom Spares had this compatible element available at a very reasonable price, so it was worth just buying it to see if it made a difference...and it did. We weren't sure how to fit it at first and tried taking the back off. This didn't look right, so we decided to take off the inner back panel which easily revealed the element. It was a 2 minute job to snap the old one out and pop the new one in. We secured it from inside and, as the back was already off, from the rear. We screwed the inner back plate back into position and it all worked brilliantly. There was a little vibration at first but simply tightening the screws more resolved this. We are so grateful to Ransom Spares for making this affordable repair possible. We have bought other spares from Ransom, and each time, we've been similarly impressed by the items and the service. Thank you.

Does the job, slightly different size
Few months later and it's working fine still. (So can't really comment on long term quality, but seems good enough.) We have a Creda X155EK, and it's meant to be compatible. It was almost the same size as the original, but not quite (a bit bigger). There's an extra support for the bottom of the element that's screwed to the back of the oven that didn't fit with this one, so I had to drill a new hole in the metal back to screw the support into. Easy enough to do, but note you might need a drill & a small metal bit.
