How does the fan element help in heat dispersion in your oven?
When you start heating an oven, the fan element performs the following functions: drawing air from the oven, passing it over the heating element to increase its temperature, and then circulating the heated air throughout the oven cavity.
Through forced convection, the fan creates a consistent flow of hot air for more uniform heat distribution around the food being cooked.
Why do fan oven elements fail?
Fan oven elements deteriorate or cease to function properly with the intense heat generated during cooking. If you observe that your oven is not heating up adequately, takes longer than usual to reach the desired temperature, or exhibits noticeable hot or cold spots, replace the fan element.

Excellent Replacement from Reliable Company
Item arrived well packaged and undamaged. I tested it before fitting and resistance value was within limits. Fitting was relatively easy as, once old element was exposed, substitution presented no problems. On switch on, the oven worked perfectly and normal operation resumed. This is the 2nd heating element we have bought for our Hotpoint oven. It is working perfectly. We bought one from Ransom Spares previously, and it lasted a good 4 years. I hope this one does too, as it's saving a good oven from going to the recycling centre.
