All round, pretty good. I found it easier to take the back off the oven, as well as the internal plate, for better access to the connections. It's been on a couple of weeks and not blown up yet.. Beware though, if you're a novice, there are no fitting instructions. But the Earth is clearly marked and the element is just a loop, so not hard to figure out

Baumatic Fan Heating Element

Just what was needed
Failed to find the element I needed on my usual spares site - thank goodness for Google which took me to Ransom Spares. Good value compared with some other equivalent elements - it arrived promptly and there was some very useful videos to show me how to fit the replacement.

Speedy delivery, easy to fit
Ordered this in next day delivery and sure enough arrived the next day. Very easy to change the element in my oven (as I have done it twice before) The last 2 elements I bought locally and only lasted just over a year so here's hoping this one lasts longer. Just one thing to note - this element had 2 prongs per live / neutral whereas my old element had only one. I just pit the fitting in to one of the prongs and worked fine. Probably not the right terminology but hope you know what I mean.

Replacement for Baumatic Element
This compatable element is fitted and working in my Baumatic oven. It was substantialy cheaper than the branded replacement. The electrical connections were not exaclty the same as the original element, but easy enough to figure out. Ransom spares provided a fast and friendly service. Their video on changing an element on Youtube proved invaluable - particularly for the tip on removing the oven door!

easy to fit yourself
having seen the video from ransom on you tube I thought that replacing the element was worth a try as everything else was working fine on my oven and I was pleasantly surprised at the cost of the part, the video was a massive help along with the cost and very fast delivery, the part cost and was delivered for £17 all in. I highly recommend Ransom spares and check out their video's if you are unsure of the relevant task, overall a great service and a very knowledgeable team.

excellent value product !
Part which i ordered and paid next day delivery for was not the part which arrived. I contacted Ransom Spares by telephone and they sent me the right part out the same day , they said it had been a picking error. The was fitted without any problems and works fine. This is the second time i have used Ransom and would recommend them to anyone, still awaiting prepaid returns label which i have not received as yet to return the first part but a really nice company to deal with and would have no hesitation to use them again.

Excellent Service
I was able to identify the necessary equivalent replacement part easily from the information on the website and it was delivered very promptly after placing the order. The video on the website showing how to install the part was particularly useful and made the job very straightforward. All in all, the service was excellent.
