Oven element heater
The product i ordered was easy to locate, in the catagory index , And it was at affordable price, received it very quickly through the post , deffinatly be using rasoms spares again, would deffinately recommend to my friends and neighbours.

Cheaper version of branded part
Basically the same as the Baumatic part for my oven, but cost half the price of the brand version. Easy enough to fit, although I ended up having to take the back of the oven off, but that was more to do with my oven than the part itself.

A good cheap replacement for an oven that was otherwise ok apart from blown element. Very easy to fit, working perfectly

Easy to fit, never tried
Having easily fitted the part, it didn't end up being the solution to fixing my oven in the end as the fault lay elsewhere and I ended up replacing the oven instead without actually being able to use the part. Because of this, I'm unfortunately unable to comment directly on the level of quality of the part. The customer service when dealing with Ransom wasn't great though. I initially paid for next day delivery and it arrived two days later. Granted, there's a message on the site that this may happen due to covid "for 95% of the time", but I emailed and asked for a refund for the difference between the standard and next day delivery and I just received a dismissive response which read that it was going to arrive. Additionally, I did ask if I could return the item and was told that the warehouse don't normally accept opened items but if there are no marks on, then I could send it. I could see his point, but I didn't want to spend money on delivery on the gamble that it may get rejected so I chose to save the hassle.

Ransom made the whole process simple
From beginning to end, the whole process was very easy. Enter the cooker serial number and the list of available parts appears. Click on the element and a link to an instructional, installation video appears. Easy ordering and quick delivery follows. Could not fault. £500 saved.

Great value
Bought several spare parts from Ransom and always found them to be good value products and good company to deal with. The element I bought this time was for my old and trusty Baumatic oven, and that's it's 2nd replacement element which is pretty good as it's 17 years old - pretty easy to replace so amazing to think people just chuck the whole oven when the element goes - had I done that maybe would have spent £600 over the period, instead I've spent about £30.

Great delivery in lockdown & great product
This is the 2nd time we have ordered the same part for our oven in 4 years. Both times the part came really quickly & I managed to fit it myself without an expensive electrician call out fee. Ransom Spares really are the “go to” company if you need a spare part. It has saved us buying a new oven - twice !! Thanks - we will be using you again.

Durability
Buying the same after having previously bought the same element 2.5 years ago. Has been trouble free but will hopefully last longer. (If I dont replace the oven first). On recollection it was a bit fiddly to fit but certainly not impossible.

Fix it or get a new... oven
Product arrived promptly, ordered on Thursday evening, arriving via Royal Mail on Saturday morning. Box opened and element was fitted with 5-10minutes. Absolutely perfect!
