How does a pressure washer capacitor work?
The capacitor helps in providing the motor with the first surge of power it needs to start and run efficiently. The capacitor releases the energy it has been holding when the pressure washer is turned on, helping to provide the necessary electrical current to power the engine.

How do you replace a damaged capacitor?

Great product, did the trick!!
Jetwasher stopped working during a major job and after looking at YouTube videos all parts pointed to the capacitor. Ordered a replacement capacitor easily from Ransom Parts and delivered swiftly. Got back to the YouTube Tutorial and fixed it easy enough. All working a treat thanks to Ransom Spares. Would highly recommend.

Fit for purpose
Needed a genuine spare for my Karcher pressure washer had established the fault as being the capacitor despite my model being five years old was able to identify and source the part quickly with Ransoms data base, and as it identified as being in stock was sure it would arrive quickly." It did not" but after a call I was told it is on its way to them. I asked if it could be upgraded for a quicker delivery to me. The customer service rep was most pleasant and efficient and expedited my request and I received it the next day. I fitted it and was using my Karcher within the hour. Great product.
It's a capacitor. What more can be said. I got it to fix a karcher pressure washer, but alas, it wasn't the capacitor that was broken. After tearing the karcher apart I found a seal had torn on the compressor and it had leaked all lubrication, before rusting and ultimately destroying itself. Pretty rubbish build quality really. If you're buying this capacitor for the same reason, make sure it's the capacitor you need first. If it is, get this one, it's great! If not, get rid of your karcher and never look back!

What are the dimensions of this bit. I have a 32uF ICAR Ecofill WB 40320 to replace - its approx 44mm diameter by 87mm long with two standard size spade connections in the centre. Cant tell if this one would fit.
