Holder Pistol Bottom Review
The quality of the product can only be described as perfect. It was easy to install within seconds with no hand tools required. Once installed the unit fitted perfectly snug with no apparent difference from the original part. I would have no hesitation in recommending this product to any K3.550 Karcher power washer owner.
Easier than expected
Had a leak in the outlet part of my pressure washer making it pulse. Found the casing had a hairline split. Ransom confirmed part number required for the model very quickly. Ordered online and arrived a couple of days later. With the right tools it is easy to disassemble and put back together. Make sure the unit is supported on the bench with the motor at the bottom before undoing the large allen bolts that hold it all together. Otherwise the oil inside the gearbox? will leak out. Did not need any other seals etc. ensure you keep the seals/O rings safe and clean to reuse. Rather than pay the Karcher cuentre for repairs this is a much cheaper option.
Easy to assemble
I bought this Karcher K4 Pressure washer spare parts- Housing & Pressure Controller and Quick Fit Adaptor- which arrived very promptly. I needed a special small screwdriver, which I luckily had in my tool box. I unscrewed six small screws to take off front and back covers. Then I needed a hexagon rod-type small spanner, which I also had to adjust my tread-mill roller-mat. With this tool, I unscrewed four long bolts holding the Electric motor and the water pump. I took out the old worn part, replaced it with the new spare and reassembled the whole thing. My pressure washer is working well now, thanks to Ransom Spares Company, UK.
