Description
The capacitor boosts your tumble dryer’s power
As soon as the tumble dryer's motor starts, the capacitor releases energy and boosts power output. This extra energy speeds up the motor's startup by lowering resistance and inertia.
Once the motor has started to rotate, the capacitor maintains a constant power source for continuous operation.
What damages the capacitor?
A dryer capacitor has a finite lifespan, just like any other electronic component. It might endure normal wear and tear over time, which could cause a deterioration in function and lead to failure.
The capacitor may overheat due to excessive heat created inside the dryer from continuous use, inadequate ventilation, or defective parts. High temperatures can cause the dielectric material to deteriorate, which can cause the capacitor to break down or lose capacitance.

Garden Shredder Repair
Black and Decker part no longer available for GA1600E shredder, but this capacitor had the same specification. Capacitor arrived within a week, Garden Shredder now working perfectly. Excellent value and service.

Good product best UK price
This start capacitor was for a garden shredder but the manufacturer's Customer Services and Parts department was no help to me at all. They had stopped making the shredder and this spare part and would not help me to find an alternative. The Ransom Spares website had questions and answers where a Ransom's member of staff answered a question saying this item was the correct one for my specific model of shredder which was exactly what I needed - excellent so I was confident ordering it and it was by far the cheapest price for it on the Web. I fitted it and now have my shredder working again. I am very happy with Ransom Spares.

Easy to fit
I needed a compatible capacitor for my Bosch Garden Shredder. This was easy to source from Ransomes. The delivery was fast. It was identical to the original capacitor.

Is this capacitor compatible with a Bosch shredder AXT 2200 HP (0600852042)?
The official Bosch spare is shown as discontinued on your site and I need to find an alternative.
