Our Lamona 8670 Dishwasher was filling with water overnight the week before Xmas. After looking on the Internet, the water inlet valve seemed to be the likely cause of our problem. Having looked at various websites for a replacement part, I chose Ransom as I had no idea which part would fit, but the drop down list confirmed and verified this part was correct. Moreover, the price was significantly less than some other suppliers. I have never replaced any part before on a dishwasher, but felt it was worth a try. It matched the original part, fitted perfectly and as you may have guessed, solved our issue. Also, given the festive break, the part was delivered in just over a week from when ordered, I expected it would have taken longer, so delighted.

Perfect replacement
My dishwasher was slowly filling with water when not in use. Research pointed me to a faulty water inlet valve. Exact replacement ordered and received. Valve fitted with ease and dishwasher no longer fills when not in service. Perfect replacement.

No more washing up!
Was much harder to diagnose dishwasher fault than to find, buy, receive and fit this replacement valve. Our Beko drained as it should on start-up (fill with a couple of jugs of water to a level you can see in the bottom, start the programme and water should be pumped away) so made a guess that the programme stalling at that point meant no water coming in. It's under mains pressure so machine just has an open/close valve. A few pounds and 2 days later the machine is washing our dishes again. Great search function on website, images to cross-ref with suspect part, one screw, 2 clips, job done.
