Cooker door catch

With my particular oven, fitting this was very tricky. I asked Ransom for instructions but they were of no help.

Both Fit Perfect
At first I saw the door striker was badly worn, put it down to door alignment. When I changed striker saw the problem was the catch. Bingo fitted in less than 2 min. Door is now as good as new, if not better.

Great service for replacement parts
Comprehensive website made it easy to identify the part needed, ordering was simple and part arrived within the specified delivery window. Fitting was a little more complicated but I guess with universal parts it would not be easy to supply fitting instructions as different makes may vary. Overall a very good service which I would use again and recommend to others.

Great Catch
The part arrived within a few days of ordering and, although no instructions on fitting were provided, it was apparent that the oven door glasses needed to be removed to be able to hold the new part in place whilst fitting the catch. I did find the screw holes on the new part a little tight so rather than burr the existing screws I used an appropriate sized old one to ease the holes open. Catch works perfectly and was considerably cheaper than others found in a web search. Will definitely use Ransom's again
