big problem, small fixing
I only bought this as an afterthought when I thought I needed to replace 5bottom hinge which looked deformed. In fact I did not need the hinge (which is a strange shape). My problem was that this bearing cup's predecessor had completely broken up so this fixed the problem. Took a few minutes to work it out as there were only a few small pieces remaining. I did not give the part 5 stars as the plastic it is made of (same as the original part I think) does not seem the most appropriate option. I did not need the hi5but the way the website presented the data greatly helped me in solving my problem.

Bosch fridge door hinge fixed
Replaced door hinge bushes easily. Fridge door now good as new

Easy repair
Plastic bearings fit onto metal pins and door now opens and closes properly. Need to loosen top hinge to fit door and then tighten up. Easy.

When ordering a replacement fridge door, two hinge inserts should be supplied as standard, as they are needed for the install.

Bosch fridge hinge socket
Easy to identify spare part on website, easy to fit, and solved the sagging door issue. Ordered another one at same time as a spare for future, as postage was a large proportion of cost if only buying one item.

Look different from the original - still fits - now like a new fridge!
Even though the picture of this hinge socket is the same as the ones that were fitted to my Bosch fridge freezer, the items delivered were actually different. Still, the dimensions seemed ok, so what's the worst that could happen ? I took off the old fridge door by removing the top hinge and the old plastic sockets actually crumbled into dust before my eyes - nothing lasts. I put these bad boys in place, and remounted the door. Hey presto ! This has saved me having to get a new fridge, and only cost me just over a tenner with p&p. Result. If it takes more than 10 minutes, you're too slow :-)

Fridge Saver
I was obliged to make a hinge socket out of a raw plug to fix my Bosch fridge.I was delighted therefore to find a proper door hinge socket on the Ransom Spare website.This was easy to fit and I can now open the fridge with confidence!It does make you wonder exactly why these spare sockets are required.I think it’s because the ‘sliding door fixture mechanism‘ (our fridge has a wooden facia attached to the fridge door)puts a real strain on the sockets unless they are very efficiently installed.If you have a ‘bracket fixture attachment’ to your fridge door,I suspect there isn’t nearly so much strain on the sockets because the fridge door and your chosen facia will move as one.

Essenrial itemJust as required, really was easy to fit
Well this top hinge piece sheared off the fridge which meant a metal spike from the door hinge was gouging away at the fridge door. Simple replacement to solve the problem. Bought a couple for next time or to stick on the bottom hinge. The item seems well made for a tiny bit of plastic.

Bosch integrated door hinge sleeves
These hard nylon sleeves seem to be a genuine pattern part and easily fixed the door on my Bosch fridge. The Bosch integrated door hinge carries a high load and is fitted with a nylon sleeve at the top and bottom which is prone to wear and should be checked regularly especially if any door drop is noticed before the plastic trim at the bottom of the door itself bearing the female slot for this disintegrates !
