Helpful video
The product fit perfectly and was easy to install due to a very helpful video. I watched the video offered on another spares site and Ransom's was much clearer and more detailed. The product is a bit pricey but I didn't find it much cheaper elsewhere.

Perfect and easy
Having researched on line about replacing the seal on our oven door, we said it was worth a shot to find if we could buy the part on line and fit it ourselves instead of paying a maintenance specialist a lot of money to replace it. With Ransomspares, it was easy to find the piece that was compatible with the model of our oven and we placed the order along with some other pieces. The delivery came very promptly and we replaced the seal in a flash. So easy. Thank you Ransomspares, great service.

Oven Door Seal
I needed a new oven door seal for my oven. I searched a number of websites to find the part required. The reason I purchased the product from RansomSpares, apart from the fact that they quoted the most cost effective price, is that their website confirmed the item was compatible with the make and model of my oven. A number of the other websites I viewed did not give this assurance, which could have resulted in a costly mistake. The item was received by courier within a few days and it was very easy to fit, taking approximately five minutes in total to complete. The quality of the new part is to the same standard as the original door seal and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Genuine part and easy to fit, as long as you line up the clips before starting.

Perfect fit expensive part
This is a composite part, insulation material with a metal gauze structure fixed with a number of attached clips. One end of the seal is pointed to joint inside the other end to make the continuous seal. The clips are orientated so must be aligned with the joint at the bottom to match the sockets around the door frame. The pointed end of each clip has to be at an angle to enter the sockets and pushed home to clip securely. A perfect replacement part but a little pricey, but I guess its a bespoke item, which was note easy to find elsewhere.
