Belt is fine but long winded fitting as with most dryers
Our hardly used 3.5 year old Hotpoint dryer belt went and this got it going again. The fitting as with many dryers is time consuming as so much of the machine has to be dissembled but that's not the fault of the belt, just the manufacturers. As an aside the cause of an early failure of the original belt for us was one of the two drum paddles was fitted slightly out of position so the belt touches the screw head which shredded one side over time. There's no viable way to slightly move the paddle/screws (adjust or drill new holes) or adjust the belt running position so we're stuck with a shorter life than expected.

Very happy
Second time ordering from Ransom and very happy. Easy ordering process, the part arrived within the timescale i selected and it was easy to fit. Price was much cheaper than other online stores and delivery was quicker too. Will use ransom spares again for any parts required in future and would recommend.

Very good quality part, fitting was a bit fiddly but that's nothing to do with the part.

Great price, hard to fit
Great price, decided to do the job myself and save more money, replacing the drive Belt on a drier was quite difficult but I got there in the end! Package took a while to arrive, I ordered 2 things from the site and I couldn't select next day delivery for the 2 items!

First Class Service
I bought this belt prior to waching how to install it. It seemed that the drier had to be split down and the drum removed to allow fitment, plus a spring had fallen out fo the drier and I couldnt work out where it went. I therefore had to pay for an engineer who had the job done in 19 mins...... I returned the belt to Ransoms and a refund was given 3 days after sending. Ransom Spares are first class to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone. I certainly will use again as the after-service is also first class.

Belt for Hotpoint Tumble Dryer
Does the job - not overly complicated to fit. So, if you're tumble dryer stops spinning it's worth trying to fit a £12 belt yourself rather than buying a £250 new dryer.
