Siemens must care
Well I replace an old Siemens part that originally was made from fully chromed steel and after 15 years it did not get any problem but only the plastic seal was destroyed. Now the new part I replaced, had plastic seal but instead of chromed part there was also very thin plastics! So Siemens engineers have thought of very short life for the part! What a shame!

Fast delivery, no need to chase couriers.
Fast delivery and through the letterbox so no chasing couriers. This particular part requires some dismantling to fit and dishwasher is still leaking so not sure whether the problem is elsewhere or I fitted in incorrectly.

Bosch Dishwasher lower door seal
Ordering from RansomSpares was quick and easy. The door seal that arrived was an update to the one already fitted to the Dishwasher, so I was hoping everything would be OK, as it had a smaller seal area. The enclosed Bosch leaflet indicated the difference and included basic fitting instructions. I used an on-line video to help, as the lower door seal replacement is a bit more involved. Although it can be done much faster, I would set aside a good hour to do this replacement, never having done it before. The video showed totally removing the door hinges, however in my case I had difficulty doing this, but in the end I found I could replace the seal with the hinges still attached to the main chassis. However, you need to temporarily remove the door from the hinges, whist supporting it, to fit the seal. The seal worked perfectly, it is also a opportunity to give everything a good clean out around the seal area. Dishwasher now has an extra lease of life.

Lower Door Seal replacement.
Although the whole process of removing the door and gaining access to the lower door seal was a bit fiddly, with the help of some great You Tube videos (search for dishwasher change lower door seal) I managed the process and now once again can use our dishwasher safe in the knowledge that we will not also be washing the floor. This product was exactly the right one for our Bosch Dishwasher. Ransom checked the part against our Dishwasher Model and serial number before I ordered.

Good product, easy to fit
Ordered on next day delivery. Tracked this online and the part arrived within the hour estimated- very good service. Part was as described and good value compared to other vendors. Fitting was pretty straightforward- looked up how to take off the door; etc. Went without a hitch.

Lower Door Seal fitting to Neff dishwasher
Website easy to navigate and locate correct parts. Delivery within 2 working days. Scored 3 on value is it seems expensive - but I know thats the score for OEM parts. Fitting instructions clear - took about 40 mins and its not something I've done before.
