A man thing
No problem with Ransom spares, helpful, quick, knowledgeable. But Karcher is another matter. I've never understood this Vorsprung durch technik thing we Brits attribute to German products and I've lived in Germany. Plastic head, plastic cylinders, really? Then no way to fully drain the thing down for winter without a lot of kerfuffle. I have an Italian made steam cleaner, far more impressive. The Karcher parts were expensive, and as my wife beasted me afterwards for a few scheckles more, I could have bought new. But, it's fixed now, it's very powerful, and she's happy. Fixing rather than buying new? It's a man thing!
