Item arrived very quickly, at a good price. Fitting was a little tricky, but will of course depend on model in question and will be the same whereever you buy it from. Definitely a 5 star overall rating!!

tumble dryer belt
Although this tuble dryer is now getting rather long in the tooth I found the replacement drive belt with no trouble at all. The price was very reasonable and I ordered it there and then very simply. It arrived a few days later and then the fun began. 100 screws later I had the machine in pieces all around me, removed years of fluff, fitted the belt and started to rebuild. Although in no way a difficult project because of the number of screws and components it took almost to hours to complete the repair. Only tools needed was a Phillips screwdriver but an awful lot of patience was needed as well. Pleased to say it worked first time and is once again fully functional.

This belt was recommended by the parts sales advisor at Ransome's, it was a bit diddley to fit but once on worked very well.

Belt 1894 H7 Review
The belt arrived within 4 days, as expected. Fitting it to our ancient tumble-drier was another matter. The machine was clearly made by dwarves with hyper-extensive joints, superhuman strength and no regard for anyone wishing to make DIY repairs. This is not the fault of the belt! The belt this one replaced was fitted by me once before and it lasted at least 5 years so I have high hopes of this one. So far it's been in use six times and seems fine.

New tumble drier for next-to-nothing!
I bought this drive belt and thought I'd have a go at fitting it myself. With the help of some online instructions the task was quickly accomplished, and I've effectively got myself a new tumble drier! Saved a fortune by not using a tradesman. The drive belt was good quality and relatively easy (if a little tricky) to fit despite it being my first time trying something like this. A tip for anyone else who wants to have a go - I had to remove lots of screws to get to the 'nitty gritty', but I taped all the removed screws to the relevant removed parts so that everything was there in the right place when I wanted to put it back again. What I would say is, have a go. If you manage it, you'll have fixed your appliance for next to nothing, and extended it's life considerably. If you don't manage the job, at least you've only wasted a relatively small amount of money. Thank you Ransome spares!

Hotpoint Dryer belt
It was easy to find the correct item using the search engine and a quick internet search found this to be the best overall price. I searched the net for a video on how to fit the part but was unable to find exactly the right one, so I chose a video showing how to change the drive belt on a machine of the same brand and set to work. I'm no electrician but found it reasonably easy to do. I fixed my tumble dryer for a few pounds instead of buying a new one for a couple of hundred. Which is nice!
