Washing machine door
When your washing machine door glass smashes in Christmas week it is a nightmare! Ordered a new door on Sunday evening, paid express delivery and it arrived Tuesday morning. Very impressed, good quality, speedy delivery and was easy to fit ourselves, just a little fiddly. So much better than having to buy a whole new machine. Would definitely use again. Thank you so much

Great price, shame about the delivery!
Product as described and cheaper than elsewhere by over £10, also easy to fit. Requested next day delivery after ordering at 1600hrs on a Tuesday and expected item to arrive sometime on the Thursday due to ordering after 1500hrs. Text message received on Thursday morning from the delivery company stating that the item would be delivered on the Friday between 0800 and 2200hrs. Fair play to ransomspares in that when I contacted them to advise of this they refunded my delivery charge in total( I would have quite happily payed the normal delivery charge). As per the text I expect the item to be delivered on the Friday and I subsequently checked on the DPD(delivery firm) App that confirmed the item had left the Inverness depot at 1005hrs. We waited in all day for the item in case of signatory requirement but a long time before 2200hrs guessed the item was not going to be delivered. The App updated at 2230 stating that the item had been returned to the depot at 2230, DPD had no explanation for this and advised that they did not do weekend deliveries so it would be Monday before we now received the item. A few weeks post this and after an email to ransomspares no explanation has been received. Now, you may think that this is a little overkill, especially after the delivery charge was refunded, but the item was a washing machine door, ordered for quick delivery after our one failed. We run a B&B and the machine is relied upon daily, if I had foreseen this issue I would not have ordered the item and instead got one from a local supplier in Inverness. All I can suggest is that if you offer a next day delivery service to the far NW check with the courier first that it can be achieved and if not use Royal Mail!
