Tumble Dryer not turning
Simple fix for this issue if belt ok, just replace large capacitor with this part.. it can be fitted either way round on wiring. Just make sure it the correct UF for your current one.

got the dryer working ... bingo!
My hotpoint dryer was making a buzzing sound and the drum wasn't turning. I googled this and ordered a new capacitor. BTW, most multimeters don't measure capacitance, so it's not easy to test. Anyway, the part is a five-minute job to refit...job done. Very happy. I was concerned when I looked at my machine and it appears to have 4 terminals but on closer look they are connected in pairs.
