Replacement cooker element
Very easy to order replacement part. Looked up the manufacturer, model number and part needed, dead simple. No hassle wondering if I had ordered the right part? Kept informed when part dispatched and delivery date. Clockwork. Not the first time that I've used Ransom Spres. Wouldn't hesitate to use again when required.

Identical part to the one being replaced
The box this item arrived in had a holographic sticker on with the name of the manufacturer on, which gives peace of mind as to its origin. The markings on the replacement part itself were identical to the part being replaced which is reassuring as I could confirm the wattage, voltage etc were the same. I found a very helpful video on how to replace the heating element within a fan oven on Ransom Spares website. This was actually what sold me on replacing the heating element and not just replacing the whole oven, as I had my doubts about part availability and how easy it would be to replace up until then. The new heating element works fantastically and it's like having a brand new oven, for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.

Does what it says on the tin
Oven decided to die on me 2 days ago - and the culprit, I suspected, was the heating element. After a quick Google search, I found Ransom spares. The part was very reasonably priced (especially for a genuine part, not a 3rd party brand) and arrived the next day. Fitting wasn't too bad - my oven (a Zanussi) has very very short wires at the back. If they'd have been a couple of inches longer, fitting would have been a breeze. As it was, it was fiddly - but this is not the fault of the part, but the design of my oven. 10 minutes later and the oven is back up and running. A snip at just over 30 quid including next day delivery. Far cheaper than getting an engineer out to see to it.

Great service
Cooker parts are what they say they are and work ok. However service is very good and the guy on the phone was exceptionally helpful even though I had missed the deadline for next day they did arrive very quickly on a Saturday as well. Well done.
