Patience and a helping hand required to fit this seal.
Buying this door seal was certainly cheaper than calling out an engineer to replace it for me. However, it was very difficult to replace the seal on my own and I only managed to eventually fit it with some help from my son. It was very difficult and frustrating trying to get the seal to stay in place before fixing the retaining bands to secure it. Mind you I did eventually manage to do it although the seal did end up a little twisted which makes the door difficult to now close. Also because the door seal is now twisted a little water always leaks out now when I open the door. Still, this was a lot cheaper than calling out an engineer and if I could be bothered, and had the patience, I could always remove and refit the seal to get rid of the twisting.
