Hoover HW130M Bearing
The bearing fitted and it works well. The import thing was not so much the part itself but being able to find the right one. It is a nightmare if you spend all that time taking the machine apart only to find that the part is not the right one

Good company to deal with
replacing a washing machine bearing is never easy. In my case, the main bearing had crumbled and a ring lodged in the main bearing housing which masqueraded as a bearing collar. Only when I had a second attempt to drive out the residual bits of bearing did I find it wasn't meant to eb there, by which time the replacement bearings supplied by Ransomes had been battered beyond usability. But the second set arrived swiftly, accurately and they are cheap. £18 for a complete kit as opposed to £47 for a Hoover part supplied by a secondary supplier. Glad I didn't batter an expensive one to death! Good company, would use them again.

Perfect Fit
Exact fit and has made the washer good as new and very quiet! Quite an involved job fitting them but with a few good tools and a good hammer, it was well worth the effort. Watch the video on You Tube.

Great product, exact copy of original
Delivery of the bearing kit was very prompt, and it contained all the bits I needed. The bearings an seal appear to exactly the same as the original, and although not the easiest of things to fit (my washing machine has seen some action) the end result is excellent. A job well done!

when our washing machine began howling we thought at first we would have to buy a new one, but my son suggested that I look at this webpage and see if I could locate the parts required, after a short time we had found just the thing we needed the bearing set for the drum, the job itself took us quite a while dismantling the machine and removing the old bearings the old fashioned way! with hammer and chisel, replacing them was relatively easy as I had an old bearing that was just the right size to sit on the rim of the new bearings to seat them, after fitting them it was just a matter of rebuilding the machine and then to see if it run OK. and it did it was very quiet after the howling it made, looking forward to another 10 years out of this machine now knowing that if anything else goes wrong I can always get the parts needed to fix it from Ransom Spares. thank you!! mick and graeme
