I bought this universal oven door seal. I checked the product fitting video on there web site and it was so simple. The goods arrived within 2 days and I again looked at the video and started the job. It was very easy and I had no difficulty with it. Great product at a fraction of the makers seal and also at competitors. I would have no hesitation of using Ransom Spares again and would highly recomend them

Just what I needed!
I was unable to find the correct seal for my cooker as the manufacturer had ceased to trade. This seal came to my rescue and was easy to fix. I was surprised there were no fitting instructions included in the pack but the online video was good. Just one point to watch, when fitting the corner pieces make sure the pin is facing the right way!

Fantastic product
Bought an oven seal. Prompt delivery. Followed the fitting instructions on You Tube and it was an absolute doddle. If I can do it anyone can. So impressed I'm ordering a new seal for the top oven.

good quality product, easy to work with, only problem I had was the hole on the oven was very close to the corners edge but it work ok.

Clever stuff
Clever product to be used as a substitute for a replacement oven door seal whenever the correct item cannot be found easily or is simply missing. Not so easy to fit however as the accompanying video should suggest. So think twice before cutting the edges at 45° or plugging the hooks in the corners. Be sure to do it the right way since you won't have any second try. But if you really need a replacement door seal and can't find any easily, this is the solution to your problem.

Easy as falling out of a tree..
Following several abortive attempts to find a new door seal for our oven, I came across the Ransom site. The search facility was simple and helped me to find the part I wanted and it arrived in no time at all. Two working days. Clear concise instructions and the fitting went well. Can't recommend them highly enough... JW

Efficient prompt service
I would have given 5 star ratings overall but for the fact that the photo of the product did not show a cross section of the rubber seal. Although described accurately as a non expert I wasn't sure I'd ordered the correct type. I had . On ALL other levels everything was very prompt and reasonably priced so I would use this supplier again. Thank you

Great Value Product and Easy to fit.
Having looked at your video on how to fit this product I was confident about my ability to fit it, so I ordered a kit. It arrived within a few days and true to the video, it was easy to fit. So much so that I was able to "rescue" the metal corner fittings from my original oven seals and because there was enough length of oven seal supplied in the kit I was able to seal not just one but BOTH of my double electric ovens. Having used the ovens since the seals were fitted they seem to be as good if not better than the originals!!

Good value
Good value and easy to fit. Only problem was they stuck out too much for the oven door to shut and I had to shave off part with a pair of scissors. It still worked well though so no problem and a lot cheaper than a Bosch part - and they could not even tell me what model my oven was!

Does the Job
Bought this universal seal after previously buying 2 manufacturer's seals at twice the price. It is early days, but it seems to be doing the job. Fitting is easy, even for a DIY nerd like myself, requiring a teeny bit of effort and common sense which is a small price to pay for a hefty saving in money. There is also sufficient seal left to cover at least a couple of future repairs so all in all a very good purchase. The fitting instructions on the online video are also excellent.
