Siemens Fridge & Freezer Starting Device

Easy fix, for Bosch Fridge not cooling.

My Bosch fridge KSR30N11GB/01 stopped working because it overheated and cut out. I noticed that an electrical device had a discoloured brown casing. I switched it off, waited for any overheat cut-out to reset, and switched it back on. Still no cooling. On looking for the device in a list of spares for the fridge I found a "Starting Device" listed, no image, but it said it was compatible with my fridge, and in stock. So I bought it. After 6 weeks wait the part arrived (a very long six weeks in the middle of a very hot spell). I fitted the wires in their original positions: (they were exactly the same as the old ones), and switched it on, and it started immediately. Excellent value for money £18 against £200 and more for a replacement fridge.
