Fits LH Oven only on Belling Range 921 CH MK II
So I've had a nightmare trying to fit this to the right hand oven of our Belling 921 CH MK II Range because it doesn't fit the right hand oven! It looks like it fits the Left Hand Oven only. I managed to source the correct part from another well known auction website for the Right Hand Oven and Voila it was relatively easy then to fit and replace. I'm not a gas approved engineer but know somebody who is and will be able to check it for leaks etc. You can obviously purchase something that identifies gas leaks or probably do it yourself somehow but I'd recommend seeking advice/assistance from an approved gas Engineer - For example I was told that the jets are very specific to the oven and ensuring these are correct and not damaged is very important as I'm told an incorrect mixture of gas/air could result in carbon monoxide issues - You can always purchase a detector for this is you're concerned AND gas you will smell if leaking of course. I can't really review part 100% because our LH oven is OK and in trying to make this fit in the RH oven I've effectively had to re-thread it - I'm hoping we can re-thread the aluminium bit again if I need to renew the LH one - If not I'll simply have to purchase another. If however it had been the correct part for the RH oven I'm sure it would have worked fine- Just didn't realise that my range uses different parts for the two different ovens!
