All you’ll need is a Phillips and flathead screwdriver.

Flat head screwdriver

Firstly, remove any items and then the shelves from your door.

Next, remove the two screws on the door bracket.

Once unscrewed, remove both doors and pop them to one side. Ask for help removing them if they’re heavy.

Remove doors

With your flathead screwdriver, remove the hinge pin. Depending on the age, the hinge pin can be incredibly stiff to loosen and remove.

Now, with your new hinge pin, screw it into the bracket.

Re-attach the freezer door first. Make sure it’s attached to the bracket at the bottom. Again, asking for help if the door is heavy. Then, attach the fridge door at the top. A little tip - gently rest your foot against the bottom freezer to hold it in place whilst putting the top fridge door back on.

re-fit doors
Re-screw the two screws on the metal bracket.

Then, re-attach your shelves and place anything back in the fridge.

That’s it, your new freezer door hinge pin is all set to go!
