Drum shock absorber for stabilised spin cycles
While stabilising the drum during the spin cycle, a drum shock absorber in a washing machine reduces vibrations. It lessens the excessive shaking or bouncing of the machine as it absorbs the shock and movement brought on by the rotating drum.

Perfect fit
Really quick and easy to replace, didn't notice any perceptible damping difference when comparing old to new, but after fitting no more vibrations during spin cycle.

East to fit.
I just had to lay the washing machine on its back to get access to the shock absorbers. Unfortunately fitting new ones made a small improvement but did not solve the problem so I now have to order some springs.

The 3 shock absorbers, as fitted by the factory, have a square section metal tube with a nylon "beam" that slides in and out. Is this a non Bosch replacement or an improved Bosch part? All three have about 4mm fairly loose movement before the resistance can be felt. Your recomended replacement looks like a steel piston in cylinder, like a car suspension shock absorber.

The washing machine has 3 of these Suspension Dampers, I would like to order all 3, what is your returns policy if I do not need to use al of them?
Hi Byron, if you don't require all three, you can submit a returns enquiry and send the unwanted parts back for a refund. They would need to be unused and in their original packaging.
