What effect would this part have on the fridge freezer if not working correctly and where would it be located in the fridge freezer.
Hi Roy, this right at the bottom of the freezer. If this is faulty it could cause temperature fluctuations.

Suspect this is the problem in my Siemens KI24RA50GB/02 but being a bit dim cannot locate where it is. Have removed the plastic 'control unit' at the top of the fridge expecting it to be there but it is not. Any pointer gladly received :)
