Quieter than original
This replacement fan was relatively easy to fit and is actually quieter than the original one that was in my oven. Fingers crossed it has a long life!

Sadly only this expensive part fits.
Replacing the fan motor on some Neff cookers is tricky for 2 reasons. The design of the attachment is different on different model numbers of apparently identical ovens with doors that fold down and slide in under the oven. I ordered a good value replacement from another firm (£40). Even though I had entered the correct 'E Number' of the oven, the fitting was completely different. Ransomes were very helpful in sending pictures of the attachments on the parts that they had. Only the genuine BSH (Bosch/Siemens/Neff) part (£100) had the right attachments. Apart from that there is no reason to buy a genuine part - made in Slovenia and not by Bosch Siemens Hausgeräte - as the original one stopped rotating when turned on, after only about 3 years of light use, supplementing an Aga type cooker. No doubt this will do the same. The other problem is that the fan tends to become 'welded' to the spindle of the motor. Even after drilling down beside the spindle I had to get it almost red hot with a gas torch before it came off.
