Does the Job

So the product is perfectly fit for purpose. The ease of fitting not so much... however this is down to the design of the extractor hood.... you have to understand how the male/female parts engage and disengage. Once you know, it's a complete doddle to do. So either make sure you have your installation instructions or google them for your extractor hood.

Removes smells better than original

Our cooker hood was in the house when we bought it. It wasn't very effective at removing smells so bought the replacement filters from Ransom Spares. Evident that Ransom's product was packed full of activated charcoal unlike the original. Not only was it more effective at removing smells, it also seemed to draw water vapour from the edge of the stove better.
Review of d45 carbon filters

Bought a pack of 2 filters recently and fitted them into a new Hotpoint HTC6 extractor fan - these filters were a neat fit and were easily fitted in a few seconds - a bit cheaper than buying them direct from Hotpoint
