Simple replacement
During a heated convo with the Mrs I slammed the washing machine door and broke the interlock. After 5 min on Google I found this part for 15 pounds ish and ordered it. Took me approx 15 mins to fit as I've never looked at a washing machine, 2 attempts to seat it correctly. Job done and probably saved up to 80 pounds over a call out, maybe more. The part came quickly so the washing didn't build up too much either. Saved me a lot of bother. Lesson learned - don't slam the washing machine door!
